Due to the business's stellar reputation and word of mouth, generation of leads was not the primary concern. In this case, they needed a catalog of apartments that could easily be shared and navigated through with the least amount of friction. The current pipeline involved the property manager repeatedly selecting the same picture from the gallery and copy/pasting the same blocks of text to share over WhatsApp with prospective customers. A simple and easy to navigate website would solve this.

The client did not have a brand book configured. While it was not within my direct scope to handle logo design or brand guidelines, I recognised that both would be essential to capture the essence of the brand in the UI.

The first task was assessing the atmosphere the business wanted around their brand and engaging a graphic designer to come up with a quick, simple logo. The client wanted something warm and homely, with a natural motif like a flower for the logo. I used Google Stitch in the initial phase to conceptualise two themes: one ‘Warm’ and the other ‘Natural’.

Wireframing was quick and easy with the help of Relume. While I knew exactly which sections I wanted on the Home page, a quick consult with Gemini showed the copy generated by Relume wasn't rich or informative enough, so I reworked it from there.

The UI stayed faithful to the wireframe with the typical colour and icon changes. The only tricky portion was coming up with a layout for the CMS-driven pages that covered all the core parts of a suite — rooms, bathrooms, balconies & amenities. Bento grids, tags, icons & images helped dispense that information meaningfully.

While I primarily handled client communications & design, I took on more of a secondary role for the development process. The bulk of the heavy lifting was done by another developer using Lumos; I stepped in to refine the animations, build a CSS marquee, and implement CMS structuring & referencing.

This was an enjoyable project because the goal was slightly unconventional but the approach was kept traditional. Using AI for conceptualisation, wireframing, copy & custom code helped deliver a high volume of quality work in a short period of time, with positive results following not long after.
